What on earth am I here for?
Think you stumbled upon this site by accident? Perhaps the treasure chest sparked your interest. No we’re not giving out a million dollars BUT what you will read in the words that follow are worth more than all the money, gold and jewels on the whole earth. Proverbs 16:16 says “how much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!”
Make no mistake you are here for a reason – there are no coincidences in life. Did you know that in Psalm 139:16 in the Bible says that “all the days ordained for you were written in (God’s) book before one of them came to be”? God has a plan and a purpose for your life and He loves you. I am going to say that again – GOD LOVES YOU. He created you to have a relationship with Him and to worship Him. He loves you just the way you are because he made you, YOU.
Do you have an empty feeling inside that seems to ache for something? Is your soul restless for something that you can’t put your finger on? If you have said to yourself “there has to be more to life than this” – believe me there is! Please understand this: all the searching in the world will not fill this void except by coming to know God and surrendering your life to Him. He created you to desire communion with Him and no amount of “stuff” will fill that emptiness. Nothing, that is except God’s son Jesus. Listen to Jesus’ own words when he says “come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Do you want rest for your soul?
Are you ready to receive Him? What God has to offer you is more precious than any treasure on earth.
Did you know that God sent Jesus, His only Son to die on the cross so that whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life? Think about that – life that goes beyond the death of the physical body, life that never ends- NEVER. When you die there is one of two destinations where your soul will go- heaven or hell. They are REAL places. Your choice on earth determines where you will spend eternity. You may have heard a message like this before, but today is the day to do something about it. This isn’t something you can keep putting off for another day. What if tomorrow doesn’t come? You know sometimes we deceive ourselves because we think we are a good person, we are happy with our life just the way it is, what difference would it make anyways. But deep down, your soul knows differently – it does make a difference.
Just cry out to God NOW and pray…. Tell Him you are sorry for all the wrong things you have done in your life. Thank Him for sending Jesus to die on the cross for YOUR sins so that you may have eternal life. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and to change you into a child of God. Surrender your life into His hands. He is longing for you to come to Him.
